”I tried to teach my child with books; He gave me only puzzled looks.
I tried to teach my child with words; they passed him by often unheard.
Despairingly, I turned aside; “How shall I teach this child,” I cried.
Into my hand he put the key, “Come,” he said, “Play with me.”

I love this idea! I think my four year old will love using his light table and rocks to practice letters. I wonder what else we could use to form the letters?
Thank you! I hope he enjoys it. Other items we have tried include gems, buttons, pom-poms, and small toys. You know what he loves so suggest he use his favorite toys (small cars, dinosaurs, etc.) to shape the letters.
I forgot- one of my daughter's new favorite things to do is to paint the letters on her light table. Luckily ours is just a plastic tub and I can wipe it off easy.
